Nice to meet you! We’re thrilled that you actually care to be here.

We are Sarah & Ben, an American marketer & a Norwegian real estate developer who also adore the house flipping & renovating lifestyle. Over the last 17 years, we’ve lived in three countries, moved nine times and renovated/flipped five properties. Our kids think it’s normal to move as much as we do.

We now call Victoria, British Columbia home. Our city is located on a rather large island that is pretty much the most tropical place in Canada (if you consider Pacific Northwest weather tropical).

Earlier this year, we decided to take our biggest plunge yet and buy a property at our dream location, right on the water. This is the one we’ve been flipping towards for years. We’re knee deep in mold remediation, blue shag rug, hidden chimneys and brown bathrooms in our 1979 beach house.

We’ve started this community to bring together people who are passionate about homes and might long for a little DIY in their lives. Now that we’ve embarked on our biggest project yet, we felt like it was time to document the process and share with everyone the ups and downs of doing an major renovation on your own home.
